BBN Consulting was engaged after asbestos was identified in soil during construction of the Gympie Netball Courts redevelopment.
The scope included assessment of stockpiled material and broader work areas to define the extent of asbestos impact. BBN then prepared an asbestos management plan and remediation strategy, followed by supervision, airborne fibre monitoring, validation sampling and clearance inspections through to completion.
